The ZOLL AED plus provides users with Real CPR Help®, which offers audio prompts and illustrations, in addition to real-time feedback on chest compressions provided to patients, including depth and rate. Instructions are provided on-screen as well; a bar gauge illustrates how deep a rescuer should push for optimal compressions. The AED’s batteries and CPR-D-padz can last five years if the device isn’t used, minimizing cost of ownership. This automatic external defibrillator has 10 lithium batteries, available in retail stores. An IP55-rated casing provides ruggedness and dust- and water spray-resistance.
